Bilingual Employment Counsellor (2 Positions Available)
Responsibilities:
- Meet individuals, assess their needs and establish an action plan
- Develop an individualized strategy with clients to help them clarify their professional objectives, maximize their employability and overcome their challenges
- Develop and write various documents (reports, CVs, presentation letters, etc.)
- Advise clients on various job search strategies and prepare them for job interviews
- Support compensated clients in their search for a job that respects their functional limitations
- Complete and update client files rigorously
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders
- Cooperate with other colleagues to deliver quality and well organized services
- Perform any other related tasks as required
Requirements
- Undergraduate University degree in career counselling, social work, psychoeducation, psychology or any other related field
- Years of experience related to the job: 1 to 3 years
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and in English in an intervention context
- Versatility, collaboration, drive and flexibility
- Great regard for customer service
- Proficient in Office Suite
- Organization and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of job search techniques and the labour market
