Oboulo: our story in a nutshell!
Oboulo is an organization dedicated to developing employability. Founded in 1992 under the name Groupe d’action et d’intervention en développement de l’employabilité (Groupe A.I.D.E.), Oboulo offered the Club de recherche d’emploi service in Granby and Cowansville from its inception. Over the years, Oboulo has expanded its services with the creation of La Maison de l’emploi in Granby, Emploi à la Carte in Cowansville, and Solutions Emploi in Waterloo.
In 2013, Services Oboulo was born, effectively uniting all three service points under the same banner. In 2023, the merger of Services Oboulo and Action Emploi allowed us to combine our strengths and enhance our range of services.
Mandated by Services Québec, we help job seekers by providing them with all the techniques, resources and tools they need to facilitate, accelerate and optimize their job search. Oboulo boasts a dedicated professional team and stands as one of the region’s largest employment counseling centres.
Our mission: Our mission is to develop the socio-economic conditions of residents in the MRCs of Brome-Missisquoi and Haute-Yamaska by providing job seekers with tools and support services, follow-up and guidance.
Our vision: To be recognized as an essential resource for adult clients seeking employment. We strive to be the organization that individuals turn to for advice, support, and tools to help them find a job that meets their expectations and aligns with their personal values.
